Doesn't surprise me. Lindsey has some really eclectic tastes in music and draws influence for all sorts of artists and genres.

Though I suppose Byrne is probably the more eccentric of the two. LB's eccentric - though not really in terms of his songwriting - but he seems to have calmed a bit with age and fatherhood.

I have always thought that "Remain in Light" sounded a hell of alot like Lindsey's 'Tusk' stuff...

It does. And Lindsey's Tusk stuff sounds a LOT like the Heads' album Fear of Music, which came out the same year.
