Oh, this is a tough one...
My favorites are: Murrow Illume Thrown Down Peacekeeper My least favorites are: Red Rover Silver Girl Some of the songs are beginning to grow on me, so this is definately not my final list. I almost put Say Goodbye as one of my least favorites. It just reminds me of an old Spanish ballad that is brought down from generation to generation. I don't know what to think of this one. Overall, I love this album! It has a little bit of everything.

LEAST FAVORITE:
"Come." By far. I've hated it ever since I first heard it. To sit through it is torture. FAVORITE: That's tougher. There are so many tunes I like. I guess I'd pick "Goodbye Baby," although the new chorus _ which IMO is a little too trite, both musically and lyrically _ doesn't measure up to the haunting verse. Overall, though, I still love it, and Stevie sounds wonderful. The others I keep wanting to hear over and over are: "Thrown Down," "Steal Your Heart," "Say You Will," "Miranda." And I think "Red Rover" is fascinating. I feel I've said it a million times, but what a FANTASTIC album. My headphones are becoming attached to my ears, I think, from all the listening I'm doing. I'm addicted to this music. |

One year later, my 18th favorite track is still Silver Girl, although I am able to listen to it now (whereas I couldn't before...much to my own shock as I'd never had that happen with ANY Stevie or 1975-1992 FM song before) and focus on the beutiful melody, insrumentation and lyrics I like. I don't know if it will ever pull out of that slot solely based on the lyrics that make me cringe. You know the ones. |

Even after a year:
I like everything except "Silver Girl". Yes, yes...after hearing "Come" live and in person, I've caved.

Oh boy... I love this album, it's hard to choose.
Favorites- Murrow, EFO, Come, Smile at You, and Miranda. Least Favorites- Silver Girl, Destiny Rules (can we say nasal vocals?), and Red Rover (no matter how hard I try, I just can't get into this song). If I had to choose just one as my absolute favorite, I'd have to go with Murrow. It's just an all-around masterpiece. Deffinitely one of my favorite FM songs.
