Supertramp Paris
This week, actually 2 days go in 1980 was the release of Supertramp's Paris.
Though I read some tracks were taken from other concerts and studio overdubs were also added (am I having a deja vu?), I love this album and enjoy it as much as I enjoy Fleetwood Mac Live album. Too overdubbed or not, I love the sound and the songs selection.

Finally! Thanks to bring Supertramp to the FM world! Haha
It's probably one of the best live albums I even heard. Not only the song selection is good, it has a very clear and good audio mixing, and the atmosphere of the band and the conection with the crew was the best of the band. Except in 1997, I never heard again a very good performance with a very clear sound! All the songs were recorded in Paris, but they're from different nights, always there, not in other places! In fact, the band released live versions of the '79 tour on the deluxe edition of Breakfast In America. Personally, they had nothing to envy to other bands or groups touring in 1979/1980. They were always a very crrect band, musically talking |

Happy 44 anniversary of the Supertramp show at the Pavillon de Paris, on which this album was mostly based.
