Yes, like using the leftovers from Buckingham McVie. I’m sure he will. It will make for good press.

Their combination was my favorite thing about FM. The worked so well together.

The Youtube album documentary and the tv interviews they did together was really heartwarming.

I’ll go to my grave knowing that album should’ve been a Fleetwood Mac album. Absolutely STUPID. And we all know the one 5’1” reason why it wasn’t. It would’ve sold marginally better and be slightly more well known than it is but dammit, it’s a Fleetwood Mac album.

It was, and should have been. Stupid old goat ruined the ending of our band. I hope karma gets her, but good.

I agree 100% it’s a shame Stevie wasn’t on it. Time and Say You Will was released as Mac albums because Mick and John were on it. PERIOD!

I’d be surprised if there are any songs left over, considering Buck/Vie only had 10 songs on the album. Stevie made it known she wasn’t going to record with them, so it wasn’t like they were saving room on the album for her. If they had more songs, they should have included them on the album.

That would be great news. I wonder why it wasn’t included?

The song may not have been up to par with the other songs. Given that they felt inclined to rework "Sleeping Around the Corner", a bonus track from Buckingham's 2011 Seeds We Sow, it's certainly possible that they didn't have too many other viable contenders for the album. If I'm not mistaken, Buckingham mentioned in an interview that McVie only brought in a few songs for the album. While Buckingham is a very prolific songwriter, McVie only tended to create new material when an album was on the horizon.
Based on the ASCAP registrations from 2013, they also still might have another song from the original 2011-12 sessions, namely "Is It Right". Several of the other songs listed were eventually released on Extended Play (Miss Fantasy and Sad Angel), Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie (In My World, Lay Down For Free, On With the Show), and Solo Anthology (Hunger). There's also the possibility that "Is it Right" was the working title for "Swan Song". Last edited by WalkAThinLine.; 06-12-2023 at 09:36 PM.. |
