LOL, Stevie did a compilation with new songs and a 24 show tour between leaving Fleetwood Mac and Street Angel, with a stint in rehab for good measure. She was mostly out of the public eye for two years.

HAHA I almost mentioned Timespace and her two token new songs because I knew you would mention those.

Yes, let's take a minute to recognize Desert Angel and SIAB. Huge career boosts. Huge. They didn't stop her from playing the State Fair circuit!

Yes..blah blah blah...Lindsey small venues '93 blah blah blah...Stevie more seats....blah blah blah....commercial (yet cringe worthy now) blah blah blah

Big Bad Lindsey, Stevie the Queen blah blah blah

Not sure what you mean about Lindsey fracturing the band, but he did quit in 1987, so that would certainly count as fracturing the band to me.
Well maybe we should share some blame with the substance abuse happening at the time too. Mick's passed out in a trailer in Lindsey's driveway...but let's blame Lindsey.

At least she was doing something for the fans she had. I certainly didn’t dig it, but even you have to acknowledge there’s a big difference in taking a couple of years off the road compared to eleven years.

Again, I was giddy she left Fleetwood Mac in 1991.

87-93 is 6 years?

Well, I'm a quality over quantity guy. Stevie probably should have taken herself off the road for a few years to get well.

It's interesting to think that 90's rehab Stevie is a lot like current day Stevie. One-off songs, greatest hits tours and feuding with band members!

So, like, no—Stevie shouldn’t sing “Everywhere” on her tour.

I didn’t mean to single Lindsey out- I think there’s plenty of blame all the way around, don’t you?

I do, however in '87 TITN really only got finished because of Lindsey, Christine, Richard and the other engineer who helped (can't recall his name, he did an interview a few years ago) Distracted would be an understatement to describe Mick and Stevie's participation in getting that album over the finish line. The band has since given similar credit to Lindsey.

Was Lindsey demanding, insistent, the list goes on...absolutely. However, he got the job done and a hit record was delivered to Warner Bros.

Ken C. has even mentioned in recent years how Mirage was also a very disjointed process. Diva behavior, people not wanting to be at the sessions, or too much whatever to participate in a meaningful way. We don't have quite as much info about the making of Mirage as we do about Tango.

No, 1982-93 is eleven years. Lindsey hadn’t toured in eleven years.

Rick is a marvelous artist. I wonder why RollingStone never ranks him in their 100 Guitarist Lists. Could it be because he's a Trump supporter?

I really think Stevie should sing Think About Me as a tribute.
