I thought it was really weird that John wasn't involved in a tribute to the man that founded the band that was named after John in which John has had 50+ years of consistent involvement with.

I have no clue how all that works but I'd assume some of our other board members will have some insight to how that works.

Mick probably wanted to fly John in coach over to the UK. Or via boat.

It was shocking to not have John there at this tribute. Even if John turned it down because it was not big bucks is not for Mick to tell the press. How come he cant be as honest when it comes to Stevie.
It was a tribute. Not much money in doing tributes. The real question is, did Mick charge fans for meet and greets at Peter's tribute.
Or was it Biddie's Britches $59.99

The tribute concert looked great but I would have loved it if Mick had done this for genuine reasons. If all proceeds had gone to a mental health charity (MIND???) that would have been brilliant. Sadly, I don't think that's the case. It seems to have been another money making venture for Mick which detracts from the whole point of it.
Are multi-millionaires genuinely paid for doing these sorts of things???
