Honestly as much as I always appreciated their dynamic I never bought into this theory. I think they were probably at their friendliest during The Dance and that's why you could see them being more affectionate but I highly doubt anyone was trying to rekindle anything beyond maybe just reminiscing here and there. At that time Lindsey had officially become one of those old rock dudes pushing 50 that went for women in their 20s. I highly doubt he would've been interested in any woman actually his age lol, even if it was Stevie.

I also think the “sensitivity chip” was easily activated because over time their expectation of just how much deference was due to Stevie grew. The bigger Stevie’s ego got, the more shocked that he would DARE to speak or act as if they were equals appalled her.

She told him that the palm trees would hit him on the head if he didn’t learn to appreciate her celebrity and they did.

and possibly, although he didn't vent that publicly like she did every chance she got and he didn't use it as a fodder to try to catapult her out of the band - the other way around. we can easily imagine he'd get annoyed by little passive aggressive things she would say or do, either directly or through Karen, and overreact just like she does. Destiny Rules doc indicates some of that. the difference is she likes to use it to make him look bad publicly.

I really think the whole band needs to just go to some therapy sessions. Maybe that'll help.

Group sessions. I'd pay to hear that.

Stevie’s shrink name is Karen. That’s why she’s not going anywhere with her treatment

I'm sure the worst thing for anyone, would be surrounding yourself with a bunch of yes people, who do nothing but tell you how wonderful you are. And that certainly seems like what $tevie has surrounded herself with.

The only people who dared to tell her when she was wrong were Tom and Lindsey..... and look what happened with them.

That certainly tells you not to mess with the Queen...

I know he’s got to concentrate on recovery right now and that takes all of his focus. Plus, there was probably a lot of pain management needed. But I wish we could get another picture of him or that we could get an update.

I'd love to see a new pic. That one in the hospital was horrifying!

And it’s been already two weeks without a pic. And two weeks of silence.

Patience. They need space.

Yes, even a simple update that he continues to work on his recovery, thank you for your messages, doesn't have to be anything fancy.

Makes me nervous wondering if there is residual physical/cognitive impact that they are hoping will get better.

But maybe it's just a sense that it's private and nothing more needs to be said until he's ready to speak for himself Clearly they had to say something to acknowledge it happened before the gossip rags got ahold of it and twisted things all around.

Yes. I realize he may still have a lot of meds right now, so a simple update from Kristen would be helpful.
