I think mine is having You and I with both parts 1&2 together.

me too. Why it's not on the poll is beyond me.
1) You and I parts 1 and 2 2) Where we belong. Wish that would have been finished, it's so catchy. 3) Special Kind of Love |

It was a hard pick between Seven Wonder and Isn't It Midnight. I really appreciate Seven Wonders at a slower pace with a sparser music arrangement. It's almost more atmospheric that way and I really like Stevie's vocal here, there's some emotion that comes through when she says "again" at the end of the chorus when its slowed down. I also LOVE listening to it on a stereo because you can distinctly hear Christine and Lindsey in the different channels.
However, Isn't It Midnight is the bomb no matter what form its in. I can't say I prefer it to it's album arrangement (the farting keyboard on the verses is pretty lame), but its interesting hearing a moody synth version of the song and the more natural, slower vocal. These two things create a whole different vibe that's just so neat to listen to. Christine's harmonizing with herself on the chorus is also cool to hear. The keyboard solo is nice too, though it pales to Lindsey's stellar guitar playing on the album cut. Juliet, the alternate Mystified, and Ricky hurt my ears though .

Another vote for You and I. Part 1 might be my favorite track on the whole album. I wish they would have included this over part 2 on the LP.

I always thought the same thing from the day I bought the Big Love single back in 1987. I loved the beginning music intro. It was another missed opportunity for a great Stevie vocal. |

I know everyone loves to hate Ricky, but I’ve always found it to be catchy & adorable.
I really like most everything from the Tango sessions, though. You & I Pts 1-2; Down Endless Street, Joan of Ark... another entire album could have been cobbled together from the Tango leftovers.

Ricky and You and I Part I are probably my favorite tracks from the Tango Sessions, period. It still kind of throws me that Part I is sped up a tad, from the B-Side version. Has this bothered anyone else? I'm sure they had the version we got on Deluxe ready to go that way back in '87, but decided against it.. I like the original speed better, just lends a hand to the dreamy quality of the track. |

Am I the only one who likes all the b sides better then what's on the album?
Ricky You and I part 1 and 2 Special Kind of Love Where We belong Down Endless Street SO GOOD. I would have added the following to the songs I mentioned and you would have a great album. No Stevie needed here. Big Love Everywhere Little Lies Mystified (I know people don't like it, but I love it) Isn't It Midnight Tango in the Night |

I’ve always loved Mystified, I think it’s atmospheric & beautiful. I’ve never understood the hate this song generates. Although I suspect it’s rooted in the same reason why some don’t care for Carnival Begin: there’s only supposed to be one woman in Fleetwood Mac who is allowed to enter into the ethereal.

I wish they had included Christine's version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" which is supposedly what kickstarted the Tango sessions. It's basically a Fleetwood Mac track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnt8_AsW_bQ

Special Kind Of Love is the kind of song I never knew about (aside from the demo) but always wanted to hear... if that makes any sense.
