I hear ya.

I'm taking my kids to see FM for their first time. They saw Buckingham McVie last year and now they want "the real thing". Obviously I was hugely disappointed when all this came down.
They don't seem to care.

So I'm going with an open mind, but it feels like a betrayal. Will catch Lindsey on his tour too...

Wow, you're a cool parent! Are they teenagers?

I continue to be impressed as to how he’s reinventing, reaching out to connect and pivot. He’s rising above and moving on in the best way possible. And looks far more professional than his former friends and colleagues.

Indeed! He clearly has nothing to hide and he did nothing wrong.

Their loss. His fans are supporting him and waiting for his tour.

I haven't bought a ticket yet, I'm hesitant to go alone. And it's Thanksgiving weekend when he's in Ohio, making it even more difficult. I was hoping a friend of mine, who's a big fan of artists like Bob Dylan, David Byrne, and Aimee Mann, would go with me, but he's not interested. He's not a FM fan, and he thinks Lindsey solo would be just like seeing FM, unfortunately

Thanks for posting this thread. Glad to see Lindsey using social media to speak to fans, very cool. Many years ago, I saw on a one hit wonder band's website they were taking song requests for concerts at each city they played at. I emailed the lead singer with a request for a rather obscure song from an earlier album, and he wrote back they didn't sing it live very often. So imagine my thrill when, the night of the concert, he introduced the song by saying it had been requested by a fan. I was blown away to know they added that song based on one request! And my friend didn't believe it was me until I showed him the email the next day.

Today Lindsey in answer to a fans question confirmed publicly that despite reaching out to Mick, Christine, and Stevie, countless times, he has so far been met with radio silence. So after 43yrs and everything he's done for him, not one of them could be bothered to return his call in eight months. Mick, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie should be ashamed of themselves. And how can anyone with an ounce of decency buy a ticket for this tour now ? Its no wonder many of the arenas are half empty with more and more tickets being dumped on resale. If Stevie Nicks has any sense (and famously she's not the sharpest tack in the box) then she'll leave the sinking ship before her solo career goes the same way. @mickfleetwoodofficial @stevienicks @christinemcvieofficial @suretonemusic @mikecampbellofficial @neilfinnofficial @anthonymasoncbs @billboard @rollingstone @ultimateclassicrock @variety @tmz_tv #lindseybuckingham #fleetwoodmac #mickfleetwood #christinemcvie #stevienicks #johnmcvie #neilfinn #mikecampbell #istandwithlindsey @kbchrush @istandwithlindsey

You're going to the show in Canton? Wow! Are you going by yourself? How many shows are you going to?

I know we've had some not so nice back and forth here on occasion, but if I went, I would love to see you there, if you're up for it. I've seen FM 4 times live, and only one of those times was with someone who loved the band as much as I did. The other times it was with casual friends.

My plan was to wait and see how the weather was, and if it was ok, go up and buy a good ticket from a scalper. I would love to be in the front row. The last concert I was at, I was in the front row, so after that, I'm spoiled. It was the best! I really should just commit to going, Lindsey's not getting any younger, and neither am I! I regretted not seeing Lindsey and Christine, but there was no way to know that might have been the last opportunity to see them. Now I realize every tour from here on out, whether it's Lindsey or FM,could be their last.

in my experience, it is 1000 times better to meet up with huge fans than try to drag with you some person who doesn't really care. i've done both, and i have had tons of fun every time when i just met up with huge fans, who i don't have to shepherd and make sure they have good time. i'm meeting with some dear friends at the Canton show who are huge LB fans. i also told SteveMacD that we HAVE to meet up at this show, since he's coming too. so of course you should join us at the venue! don't miss it, i bet you won't regret it!

Hey, thanks Elle for posting this. You do a lot to keep us all informed here on The Ledge.

I guess my first question is why would Lindsey's ex band mates not return his calls? Like they are totally cutting him out of their lives. Was what he did so reprehensible to them that they can't even communicate with him? Yet Lindsey still holds out hope for a BuckVie II. This whole situation has become so bizarre to me. I'm thankful Lindsey is reaching out on IG to the fans. We deserve to know.

If I had a ticket to a Fakewood Mac show I would burn it..The remainder of Fleetwood Mac now treating Lindsey like a persona non grata is reprehensible .If it was not for Lindsey they would not be able to be out there milking the last drops from the Rumours teat and fleecing unsuspecting boomers and others with their patchwork quilt show.

Clearly Lindsey is the “real thing” and not those four fantastic ex bandmates that are not answering his calls because hey! they’re too busy rehearsing.... for the past six months.

Glad to know we were not wrong.
