Lindsey talks on IG
Go to his insta story. Very interesting. I’m sure we’ll have apologists coming out here, again, of course. But wow!

Cool thing to see him being more open with the fans. Also cool to see his optimism about a sequel to BuckVie but it irks me he says hes reached out and nobody has responded.

Thanks for posting, Elle.
He stated he has made constant overtures towards Christine, John, Stevie and Mick, since he was let go of FM, and so far he has had total "radio silence." I noticed somebody asked him if he would do a follow-up to the "Buckvie" project and he hinted it was possible. I am curious if that question was answered before the unfortunate events. I am not seeing a date stamp on the instagram questions and answers??

Can anyone give more on this, copy and paste his answers?? Don't Instagram Stories go away after a day? Thought they were like Snapchat. It wold be good to capture, even if someone just takes a pic of the screen full of questions and answers with their phone. You know, so when the doubters come in demanding PROOF and all that.

I'm starting to wish my mom didn't get me those tickets. I feel like I've betrayed Lindsey

I'm taking my kids to see FM for their first time. They saw Buckingham McVie last year and now they want "the real thing". Obviously I was hugely disappointed when all this came down. They don't seem to care. So I'm going with an open mind, but it feels like a betrayal. Will catch Lindsey on his tour too... |

I continue to be impressed as to how he’s reinventing, reaching out to connect and pivot. He’s rising above and moving on in the best way possible. And looks far more professional than his former friends and colleagues.

yes, he responded (today) that he loved working with Christine and would love to do another BuckVie album - or something like that. i'll try to look for that caption. that kinda weirdly collides with Christine not answering his calls (and we know she's not been mad at him since she stated that she knew nothing about firing).

I haven't bought a ticket yet, I'm hesitant to go alone. And it's Thanksgiving weekend when he's in Ohio, making it even more difficult. I was hoping a friend of mine, who's a big fan of artists like Bob Dylan, David Byrne, and Aimee Mann, would go with me, but he's not interested. He's not a FM fan, and he thinks Lindsey solo would be just like seeing FM, unfortunately
Thanks for posting this thread. Glad to see Lindsey using social media to speak to fans, very cool. Many years ago, I saw on a one hit wonder band's website they were taking song requests for concerts at each city they played at. I emailed the lead singer with a request for a rather obscure song from an earlier album, and he wrote back they didn't sing it live very often. So imagine my thrill when, the night of the concert, he introduced the song by saying it had been requested by a fan. I was blown away to know they added that song based on one request! And my friend didn't believe it was me until I showed him the email the next day. |
