This made me even more sad than I thought it would; additionally, I can't help but feel that they were just phoning this in. I'm heartbroken about Lindsey's firing, but I still expected a little more enthusiasm and energy from the band. With the exception of Mick, they just looked like wax figurines. When Stevie interacted with Neil during "The Chain," it seemed weird and embarrassing. Stevie seemed uncomfortable and unsure of herself. Christine looked beautiful.

Her entourage ensures that $he thinks nothing but that, about every aspect of her life.

$tevie - "hey guys, I just took a massive dump!"

Oh $tevie, it's beautiful, and smells just like ro$e$!!!!!

$tevie - "Nailed it!"

Two completely uninspiring and sad performances. It makes me very sad that we're missing out on what could and should have been a beautiful send-off for this band but given it's history, it is kind of fitting. Billy, Bekka and Rick were crapped on for YEARS by fans but at least when they went out and performed Lindsey or Stevie's old songs, they performed them as if they were their own. They had energy and passion. These performances had neither.

This performance just made me sad. This is how they ended their careers.

Very sad ..the worst version of Gypsy yet .No range whatsoever. While I like Neil in the context of Crowded House ,Split Enz and some of his solo work and with his brother he is just too bland to substitute for Lindsey .It is like watching remakes of "Gangs of New York " or "There Will be Blood " with Zac Efron in the Daniel Day -Lewis roles. Very disappointing way for this band to go out.

This. It’s like the substance has been zapped from the band. The Chain is a song about passion, anger, and stubborn determination- this rendition had none of those emotions. The only word to describe it was just sad. Deeply sad.

Gypsy was less unfortunate to me. Like others have said, it’s never translated to the stage well, and Stevie never seems to have been able to nail the vocal, even back in the early ‘80s. I think her adjusting the vocal here was smart- made it much less cringeworthy. I still find it horribly sad this was the song Stevie purposely chose to sing, though. Of any of her FM songs, Gypsy is the one most closely associated with her musical relationship with Lindsey. It’s the song of hers he was most proud to help develop, and it’s the one song Stevie chose to perform for the new line up’s world debut. No wonder she was grinning the entire time... she stabbed Lindsey in the back and just keeps twisting the blade.

I thought Neil sounded GREAT. At least he can still sing incredible high notes for his age other than someone else who sounds like Animal from The Muppets.

I honestly thought both songs sounded pretty bad.
No harmonies during "The Chain." I could barely hear Stevie and on both songs I couldn't hear Christine at all.
She looks beautiful, but really frail.
She seemed more like a prop. She wasn't highlighted at all! Not even one solo vocal from her.
Hearing Neil singing "The Chain" felt odd.
I thought that was a really bad choice.
Stevie sounded very weak on 'Gypsy."
It seems she has really lost tons of range recently.
She had more range a couple years ago on the "24KG" tour.
I've never heard her sound like this.
No power in her voice.
She looked tired.
It made me really sad.
Like she was just going through the motions here.
Mike sounded like Mike. he's a good guitarist. Mick was Mick. He played fine.
I couldn't hear John's bass very well. The audio mix sounded generic and bad.
I don't understand the point of this tour.
They have plenty of money.
They shouldn't go out like this!
I knew it wasn't going to be good, but this is so sad.

I don't know if it was because of the way it was filmed but it felt like watching 'Stevie Nicks and her backup band'.
And Stevie trying to look at Neil during The Chain the same way she used to do with Lindsey but it coming across absolutely awkward was actually kinda funny.

This clearly condensed version of what’s in store for the actual concert has me really excited. Plus I actually thought Neil sounded great on the Running in the Sgadows line. And the harmonieson “The Chain keep us together” actually sounded good.
Agreed. I love LB, but his "RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN!!!" raving at the end of The Chain has just become annoying. Neil stuck with the "Running in the shadows!" line and reminded me how great the fade to this song *should* be... even condensed for TV. Curious to hear how a better mix in a full concert will sound.

Honestly, those looks between LB/SN have been so scripted and fake over the past umpteen years... they've been awkward and funny for a while. Different level of awkward now with Neil "Do I know you?" Finn on the receiving end, though.

The backup singers are Sharon and a blonde.....Marilyn? That's not Jana I don't think. No sign of Lori. Is she sitting this one out?
