I'm sure there are details that not even KB knows about what happened.

Everyone in this band - and probably everyone closely associated with this band - uses plenty of expletives. We have heard them on stage. It's probably commonplace around the dinner table as well. I doubt anyone says "Please pass me the salt." Maybe they will feign shock at Kristen's post, but seriously?

Still, I wish she said, “Are you effing kidding me?!” when they fired LB—and just left to do her own album. |

I don’t get how “we just weren’t happy” is a lie. If they were happy, nobody would have gotten fired.

The entire band, in every incarnation, would've ceased to exist after 1976 if being "not happy" was a legitimate reason.

But if that is true, that means after 1980 they must have been one happy quintet. |

Absolutely, LBs version he told KB would have been from his side and perspective only, I am sure she doesn't know word for word what actually happened.....I definitely don't blame Lindsey by any means but he would have put up a good verbal fight against Stevie and probably said some fairly nasty things. That was then Stevie's ammunition to get him fired.

Eve if she weren’t under contract, I wouldn’t blame her. Dashut it right: LB and SN are so toxic it’s useless to intervene.

It is certainly useless to intervene, HOWEVER if your FRIEND who you have just joyfully recorded an album with and toured with is fired as a result you do something to make things right ....otherwise you are enabling and encouraging Stevie's appealing behaviour

But I guess at the end she's just like Stevie.

"It’s a strange one, really, because we’re not really the best of chums," McVie, 74, said in a separate call a little later. "We don’t really hang out very much together. But we have a really strong musical bond with each other. Once we’re in the studio, we work as a team really well. We inspire ideas with each other. It is quite amazing, really, that I can listen to something he’s playing and tooling around on, and then we link up off each other very well. It’s been like that over the years — we come up with different ideas, and cooperate in a very natural way."
