I'm sure the tour will sell so that people can say they've seen "Fleetwood Mac", there's a lot in a name and people want to hear the hits. Considering people are going to see a Roy Orbison hologram on tour I doubt most people will be bothered they're not getting the authentic Rumours Five experience! (I'm surprised Mick didn't think of that - Fleetwood Mac - featuring the magical Lindsey Buckingham hologram )
That being said the prices they are charging are crazy! Looked over at Ticketmaster and the prices are double (taking into account the exchange rate) what I paid when I saw them in London in 2015. I wouldn't pay that to see the full band, let alone this new lineup! Re Stevie's stories, I like it when artists talk to the audience during shows, it creates a connection with the audience.

I still think this is selling kinda due to false advertising, the penguin with the bandnames in small print around it, well, the target group would need to search for their glasses to see that... The average fan and especially the people who buy tickets as gifts do not know about the new line up by now, some will realize that there are two new people during the concert. And well - they will probably not care THAT much, as long as the hits are going to get played and the beer is cold.
The people who cough up 500 to 1000 bucks (haha) are fans, they know what they are doing. |

Stevie’s stories on 24 Karat tour were great, a treat for her fans and matched the theme and spirit of the tour which was bringing songs out of the vault. The stories not only provided interesting background but gave context to why they were included in the set list. That tour was pure magic.
Her Gypsy story was perhaps too long but I enjoyed it as well. It wasn’t that much longer than Lindsey’s “I needed to get away” tale from the Dance show that always gave me a nice pee break. And it certainly wasn’t longer than insufferable Not That Funny drum solo. |

Mick says on TMZ that they might even be doing Heartbreakers songs.
So.... that's Neil Finn songs, (Stevie was adamant about doing Don't Dream It's Over), Peter Green songs, Stevie solo material (Stop Draggin' per Mike and Stevie) and now other Tom Petty songs. $1300 for karaoke night? Really?

Lindsey can sit back and laugh and watch this thing implode. Ticket sales are one thing, a crappy review in rolling stone is another.

Only if Jimmy Page is with them. He could have took them straight back to the Green years. |

They probably charge more for tickets because there's more people that have to get paid.

Why not get just Green himself Anyway it seems that if they were deliberately setting out to tarnish and belittle their legacy they would be hard pressed to do a better job than this .It has to be a lethal combination of greed and dementia fueling this.

Still just a small fraction of the $1.600 and that was for the privilege of seeing 30 year olds in their touring prime as opposed to having to stare at close range at bunch of people mostly their seventies croak out a karaoke act.
