I skipped this concert in protest of how she blew off Fleetwood Mac.

Formerly of Fleetwood Mac?! Either way, the girl is thriving. Couldn't be happier for her.

I am happy for her. Her box score is as good as anyone and she is almost 70.

I'll be honest- I find this stunning! The album was not a hit but this tour has performed beyond expectations. When the tour was first announced, I really thought it would be a bust, but it was so popular she had to add over 15 more dates.
Incredible. |

I'm thrilled for Stevie and her success as well.
I think a combination of things made this tour successful. Adding The Pretenders was a brilliant decision. Two strong, iconic female singers. Great classic songs. A mutual love and respect for each other. Fans from the same generation.... It was a magical bill that pleased fans of both artists, unlike the tragic outing with Rod Stewart. Word of mouth also contributed greatly. Stevie received overwhelmingly glowing reviews for her show. A new setlist, an engaged and energetic performance, genuine happiness to be performing new/different songs, funny and charming stories. It was classic Stevie, and the audience picked up on the positive vibe and told their friends about it. As always, the successful tour of a reunited Fleetwood Mac in 2014-15 helped give momentum to Stevie's own trek. She may not want to record with them, but she has to acknowledge that being in the band contributes in profound ways to her solo success. If Stevie and her management were smart, they'd put out some new product to take advantage of the great press and success of the tour. But I've been a fan long enough to know that that ain't gonna happen.... :-) |

[QUOTEMe too! I thought it was just plain dumb to tour for an album that tanked 2 whole years prior. I am VERY pleasantly surprised and happy for her & thrilled I got to see this show
*Ricoh*[/QUOTE] I was surprised to see so many younger fans singing along to the songs from "24K," at the show I saw n Florida last November. I think many downloaded the album from torrents, shared files, etc. |

I am totally thrilled and really happy for her.....
BUT , I do with she'd toss 3 songs into the mix. That's all it would take and we would have a new Mac album. |

This would be an ideal time to drop 24KG2 and keep riding the wave.
