I still don't know who that woman was on the cover of ITM!

yes. i listened to that song again yesterday, and thought about that. i'm wondering whether they changed the lyrics now, updated them maybe? because some of the lyrics in that particular song were really clunky, but the whole paper and border were odd and intriguing. as was his British phrasing (never meant to give you a frown or 'round the corner).
so i pulled lyrics from the net http://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/still...ow_lyrics.html (thank you fmfanuk!) - Sleeping Around The Corner She called to me Meet me at the border Wake me up when my papers are in order Lord I dont want to bring you down No, I never meant to give you a frown I'm just sleeping around the corner Lord I dont want to bring you down No, I never meant to give you a frown I'm just sleeping around the corner We made sweet love over and over She said oh sweet darling I'm your little red rover Lord I dont want to bring you down No, I never meant to give you a frown I'm just sleeping around the corner She said to me, I dont mean to scorn you But I'm been lying And I've been too scared to warn you Lord I dont want to bring you down No, I never meant to give you a frown I'm just sleeping around the corner Lord I dont want to bring you down No, I never meant to give you a frown I'm just sleeping around the corner -- Written by Lindsey Buckingham Performed by: Lindsey Buckingham Produced by Lindsey Buckingham Recorded and Mixed by: Lindsey Buckingham 2011 Now Sound Music

Although, I do love Miranda and what Stevie adds to Miranda. Miranda, Thrown Down and EFO are my favorite songs on the album. Michele |

I was referring more to the previous comment about making her songs "fit" stylistically with his in terms of arrangement/production. There wasn't quite the same concern, IMHO, for making his songs stylistically like hers. Doubtful either of their songs would benefit from being force-fit to the other's style....hence the dissatisfaction with some of her songs on DR. Now with THAT said, kudos to him for the arrangement on Destiny Rules.

I freaking love this picture of them!!! I am so glad they're getting some press on their album together.

I agree with bombaysaffires, the only difference I hear in Lindsey's songs are added Stevie vocals. Otherwise they seem exactly the same. Some of them don't even have Stevie on them. I was familiar with the solo versions first and I've never noticed any other differences. I believe in the documentary he even mentions that adding Stevie was all that needed to be done to his songs.

Murrow
Regardless of the mix, Murrow is a train wreck of a song.

I love this picture of them, too! We might be the only ones.

As are almost all of his songs on SYW. I fear for the BMcV album, it will be half Lindsey and thus likely about 50% skip tracks. Extended Play was an example of what we might be looking at...

I agree. I've never cared for it. Too dark and repetitious.

If it's anything like his last album with Christine in the mix, this is going to be fantastic~!
