I noticed this too. Certain songs sound so much clearer than others...and some sound louder, softer, etc. Lame.

So far, my digital rip of my CD sounds great. Have you noticed a difference in sound between the CD and the download?

No because I haven't received my CD in the mail yet, despite it being shipped from Nashville (where I live) 4 days ago.

So annoying!

I'm pleased with how the CD audio sounds. I prefer listening to vinyl, but because of the volume differences, I've been able to enjoy some nuances I hadn't previously noticed.
