I don't recall Stevie saying they were serious business… she just happens to like a homier feel in the studio rather than a sterile bunker ambiance. Nothing wrong with that.

Well, both Christine and Mick believe in the spiritual. I don't know if John and Lindsey do. But they probably don't think a spirit catcher is that unusual a thing.

Christine said her mother slept with someone's glove and cured them of leukemia or something. Although I do think they try to gloss over Stevie's dramatic gibber, like when Mick told Stevie they'd spent 6 months trying NOT to be Fleetwood Mac. He seemed to be trying to tamp things down a bit.

She's 65 years old, a cultural icon who generations of younger artists look up to and still she gets no respect at home with Fleetwood Mac.
I think it's pretty clear that she would be getting mad props and generating much excitement if she were there. Chris is back after 15 years... it's what 30 years since Tango (which stevie sat out pretty much). I mean it's been half a century since did the white album. And Stevie isn't there with them through all of this? It is very disappointing. It just is.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I think disappointing is the exact word I'm feeling. Even though I goof on her, I want her there and giving her input.

It's almost as if she feels, (pure speculation). Ok fine, Christine gets Lindsey and I get Dave. I'm ok with that as long as she contributes to the actual FM recordings. Which I truly believe she will.

In Stevie's defense she has a huge tour booked with them after just doing a tour. I'm giving it a wait and see before I start foaming. And I will if she blows this opportunity.

Some people just want a reaction out of you. They are just a tiny % of Mac fans. Don't let it piss you off, laugh it off. I read once that if you have haters your doing something right. How ever that quote went. You know what I mean. Speaking of haters: Who is getting that BMI award? They don't give that award out to just anyone

Heart

let's bring this thread back from the unnecessary negativity and self-righteousness to what the topic is:

Los Angeles: Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac are collaborating on their first new material in 15 years. The band is hitting the road, including sold-out shows at the Forum in Inglewood, this year with McVie rejoining the storied group.

I WISH.

Also, you called? THIS is what I remember of the first sequence with Stevie too. And he took the spirit catcher plenty seriously, lol:

S: Where can we put it?
L: Well, um, you can put in doors area, if you want, or if you want it to sort of wash out over the whole area then we're going to have to put it-
M: The mantle, maybe.
L: - on the mantle.
S: On the mantle maybe?
L: Alright. Let's do that.

Always a pleasure to share some positivity and GIFs in a thread.

And LOL. I'm sure she's well aware of that. Everyone needs a short break from their other half now and again. Keeps things healthy and happy!

I think that Stevie has unresolved issues about being Lindsey's wife and feeling cut off from that time. Dave provides a sense of security that Lindsey has yet to express. He needs to allow himself to get back to feeing "that they were as good as married". As he starts to feel his age he and Stevie might start actually getting along without the war for domination and control. I'm not in anyway saying he doesn't love Kristen but he will feel he has more understanding with Stevie because of shared experince and age. the truce is drawn there will be a beautiful musical channeling of what love is really. We should all be thanking Dave for his help in getting her in a vulnerable place to let Lindsey give her security after all these years. And she will finally let him. Dave made for good practice he is gentle and could've been a therapist. These will be the best songs of honesty from mama nicks. I need u you know me I felt no uncertainty and healing love. Then they can die and the other will feel peace about being left behind.
