BLACKDRESS OF STEVIE ("Green Manalishi")
Now, when the day goes to sleep Sister of Moon looks For dress that's so black while Christine McVie cooks Don't you come spinnin' around Makin' her wear things she don't want to Can't believe that you need that old dress so bad Platform sneakin' around, always all-black-clad Sweater's on during Dreams Making us see clothes we don't wanna see 'Cause you're da BlackDressing Stevie with the two-piece gown All your corsets tied up, all your shawls hangin' down Just taking same dress then spinnin' away Leavin' smell here just tryin' to keep from following you - Jake

Same Black (dress) aka Straight Back
What shawl shall I wear this time when I play on stage? Black dress is much older but it'll never be put away And you will cry, "it makes you not look thin!" but i'll never change Black dress will be made over, no but will look...the same black dress will look the same (same!) Fingers find the black stitching and a song parody appears from my fans who'd do no wrong And they tell me why Stevie do you wear black dress? If you'd get another designer you would look.... the best you would look the best (best!) hours and hours of design school for you but you need a beating hours and hours of dressing this way it's eating at me (hours and hours of design school for you but you need a beating) She remembers how good she can be oh, she needs to fire Margie Shadow, my black shadow In my dreams... hours and hours of design school for you now you need a beating hours and hours of dressing this way it's eating at me

Burn That Dress Now (Go Your Own Way)
Wearing you, isn't the right thing to do... How can I, ever dress the way I feel... If I could, I would use more reds and golds... How can I, Margi wont make them for me... You can burn that dress now Burn that dress now You can buy one right before the tour in May You can burn that dress now Burn that dress now Menopause, doesn't help at all.... A new dress, with some shawls are overdue.... If I could, baby I'd make them on my own.... Hell I can't, even work a remote control.... LOL! ~Alex

Thanks.
And for the record, I DON'T think Stevie should fire Margi. The problem is not the designs, but that Stevie picks one to wear all year long and then some. When Stevie started wearing this dress I liked it. It was better than the last one. Then it stuck around. And around. And around. Not Margi's fault. The customer is always right, I guess. - Jake

CAPE AND CARDIGAN ("Gate and Garden")
There is an outfit It can be buttoned Well, it is not pleasant And it has a cardigan So to the funeral Goes the fashion And my party gown Well, it's black, you know It's made for widows who are grey It's dowdy, you know And I'm thin It's just too tame for me today Some fan steals it Some fan steals it away It scares me to death I won't hide it on a shelf I won't give it to my friends Won't change an outfit How many times have you said Do I wear new Well, I never did any night Nobody sees nothing I fit Well, it's worn, you know It's everywhere You say you seek a change I say extend my hair But don't change my outfit How many times have fans said Do I change you Nooooooooooo Do I change you Nooooooooooo - Jake

STEVIE AND THE CREASED ("Beauty and The Beast")
You're not a strange dress to me And you are boring to see You don't even allow a flash of knee You're worn a lot, but you're unaware how to seduce Lindsey My Stevie lives in creased dress in the color of a mime An old child mis-outfitted one more time Seamless is a feature of the guise And Margi the seamstress designs to cover Stevie's thighs Oh, who is wearing new lace, who the one who's creased Would you die of grieving if this look would leave Two black rags that will never be sexy Is that sweat or just a shadow under your sleeve My love is a blond who's not been tamed Oh, my love lives in new dress with no false boobies or hip pain She sings "All the Beautiful Worlds", but never dresses the same I never doubted eventually you'd change I never doubted eventually you'd change Changed what you are wearing Where is the dress There is no clothing Without the dress Your widowful widowful widowful widowful dress - Jake

SISTERS OF THE BLACK DRESS (sung by Stevie)
Intense silence As I walk on the stage My black dress..... trailing Moons ago this was made And a black widow spider crawled From the shadows of my dress And the fans singing "STEVIE You look such a MESS!" All that confusion It was hard to breathe Cos the mothballs they were choking Choking, choking..... mmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee So I checked into wardrobe See if there was something new Margi said "Oh Stevie, you don't have a clue" That the people they love you But still they are so cruel They love you in your black dresses But wear........ something newwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww (talking mode) She said "Stevie ditch that dress Illusions are your game Your fans want to see you in velvet Not that BLACK DRESS AGAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN oooohhhhhhhhhh ooohhhhhhhhhh oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh : awwwwwwwwwwww poor Stevie (we love you really) |

It's Ripe (Free Fallin')
She's a good girl Loves her Blackdress Loves incense and Liddy Buck, too She's a fashion victim Loves her mu-mu Loves Chanel and lanky Mick, too It's a hard life living without colors There are stark blacks and sparse shades of bright She's hurts our eyes 'cause she can't accesorize She's a victim of faux pa's for wearing it more than twice It's ripe It's ripened with wear All the stylists never got a phone call She stuck with Margi and accepted no business cards All the stylists salivate to meet her And the stylists are appalled at her sight "I want to dress you in red and some creamies I want to ditch the sequins and tights I want to fix your haircolor and fishnets Then you can twirl for dramatic effect"
