Default If you made a "Best Of Peter Green" Album

If You were putting out a retrospective of Peter Green to turn some one on to him what "12" *songs would you put on the CD and what order would you put them in?

doodyhead

Default It should be 5 CDs "Best of Peter Green"

It is a very difficult task to choose only 80 min. Peter’s recordings.
In my opinion it should be 5 CDs “Best of Peter Green”.
CD1 P. Green in Studio 1967-1971
CD2 P. Green live – 1967-1970
CD3 P. Green – Guest Appearances
CD4 P. Green – Solo1978 - 1984
CD5 P. Green Splinter Group

My proposal:
CD1 P. Green in Studio 1967-1971

1. The Supernatural
2. Curly
3. Fleetwood Mac
4. First Train Home
5. I Loved Another Woman
6. A Fool No More
7. Watch Out
8. Lazy Poker Blues
9. Love That Burns
10. Drifting
11. Black Magic Woman
12. Albatross
13. Man Of The Word
14. Oh Well Part 1& 2
15. Rattlesnake Shake
16. Green Manalishi
17. Bottoms Up
18. Beasts of Burden

Regards
Krzysztof

Wow, that's just about what I came up with, kowk! I tried making a "Best of" compilation and it came out to 4 CDs without any guest appearances or tracks where someone else is doing the vocals. I broke the discs down into Studio, Live, Sessions (with a couple of live tracks thrown in), and a last disc of various tracks I called Encore - that's the only one that included post-Mac work.
