Mick Fleetwood's I Want You Back
Well, I've been listening to this all week after downloading it from The Legacy. It's from Mick's I'm Not Me album.
It's basically a Lindsey song and I'm assuming he wrote it Does anyone know and what do you all think?

There was also a video for that song. I don't remember Lindsey being in it. Stevie made a cameo appearance at the end as an angel of some kind I believe.

Is it just me or does the way Lindsey sing that sound a heck of a lot like the way he sings "I Want You" in the song of the same name on "Go Insane"?

Lindsey does show up as a monk-type character. And yes, Stevie appears as an angel.

I Want You Back
-- vocals by Steve Ross and Lindsey Buckingham -- music and lyrics by Steve Ross and Lindsey Buckingham It was a single! The video certainly gives indication to that; the picture sleeve 45 I have confirms it. Does anyone know whether this obscure album was ever released on CD? It's very intergral to the Fleetwood Mac discography. Aside from Lindsey's appearance, Christine McVie provided keyboard and background vocals on several songs. And Billy Burnette has a strong presence on it, with Tear It Up and Angel Come Home. The latter sounds very much like a Fleetwood Mac song. I have a 12" single promo of it, so it must have been considered for the second single.

I've got The visitor on an official CD. I think it's been released at least in France. Don't remember if I imported it or that it was available here in Holland.
I'm not me is a nice album, too. I would buy it immediately if it was on CD. Got the vinyls directly after release, still like them both.

I don't think "I'm not me" was ever released on CD format so I keep my vinyl version. Steve Ross who co-wrote the song is a good friend of Lindsey's and Richard Dashut.
Steve toured with Lindsey on the OOTC tour as part of that guitar army.

Yes, I have a CD of The Visitor. I recalled it being a US release, but after checking it...realized was issued in France. Still, it's a quality, well-done release...with most of the art work from the original album. I listened to it not long ago. It's a nice album.
