A story involving FM's exit music

Back in 2003, while the Say You Will tour was still in progress, I got my hands on an audience recording of the show from Greenville, South Carolina on 6/1/03. The taper had taped the first minute or so of the exit music that played over the PA as the crowd was leaving. I thought the song was really cool and wondered what it was, but had no way to figure it out, as it was an instrumental tune so I couldn't look up the lyrics. I figured I'd never hear it anywhere else and assumed it would always remain an unsolved mystery so I eventually forgot about it.

Fast forward to July of last year, 10 years later. I was sitting in a Starbucks when a song came on over the PA that sounded familiar. Pretty soon I recognized it as the exit music from that concert recording. This time I had to figure out what it was. I remembered that there was an application called Shazam that can identify songs playing in public places or on the radio, downloaded it onto my phone just in time, and the application identified the song as "Unto the Resplendent" by the Mermen.
