Quickie Survivor: Non-album Released Songs
Hey guys, since we're going to have a bit of a Survivor drought in the LB forum in the next weeks, here's a quickie one to do beforehand (hope you weren't thinking we would do something more creative from rezamatic's comment last week!)
This time, it's Lindsey's non-album released solo tracks. Our qualifications for this round were that if the song has appeared on a non-bootleg CD or album, no matter how limited the release, it counts here. As such, SGCYM is included here, as opposed to being included with the GOS game that will be later. The songs for this Survivor are: Holiday Road Dancin' 'Cross the USA Time Bomb Town On the Wrong Side Twisted Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind Now, if you don't know the rules by now, it's pretty sad. However, here they are, for the forgetful ones. The rest of you can skip down and commence voting. ------------------------- The Rules: Please familiarize yourself with these rules because these are the standards by which votes will be counted. The way the hosts post: We will always post official results in the same manner (+4 Red) and our goal is to make it easy for you guys to follow what’s going on. So if you’re confused, look for our posts. We will announce a) when the voting period has begun and ended b) who has immunity and c) results. VOTING:- Voting periods begin AFTER immunity is assigned and ends at 6:00 EST that night. Either rezamatic or I will post an official beginning and ending announcement. If your votes are before or after those posts, then they do not count. See below for how immunity works. - When you vote, type 1) The round number and 2) the name of the song in your subject line and ONLY that. We will tally the votes by the subject line, so if it ain’t in the subject it doesn’t count! - Votes can NOT be changed once they’re posted. We count your first vote and that is all. - If there is a tiebreaker, then ALL votes from ALL previous rounds are tallied and whoever has the most prior votes is eliminated. That’s the way it’s done on the real show, that’s the way it’s done here. If there is a complete tie with prior votes (Murphy’s Law), then we’ll have a sudden-death immunity question ready which will allow someone to make the call themselves between those two (or more) songs. IMMUNITY: - After we tally the scores, we will announce the results and post an immunity question/puzzle/etc. and await a response post. In order to be considered, the answering post must contain both the following: 1) the correct answer and 2) the choice for immunity. When we get that post, it will then be VERIFIED by us in bright red letters confirming who has immunity this round. So again, if we haven’t posted, nothing is official! Once we confirm immunity, the voting period begins. Last edited by sodascouts; 07-18-2005 at 05:07 PM.. |

Round 1 - Time Bomb Town
These are all great songs, but Time Bomb Town is definitely my least favorite of the above.

Round One: Time Bomb Town
Yeah, I don't want Twisted on the list. It's not even a Lindsey song.

Round One: Twisted
Boo-hiss to all the Time Bomb Town haters. That song is perfect. As are all the songs here, which makes this very difficult. I'm voting this one because it's more a Stevie thing, right? But I still love it and he SO makes that song great.

I should have, but now I can't change my vote. I figured more people would vote for Time Bomb Town.

You won't see that for the other artists you mentioned. He'll be in the liner notes (probably - sometimes he is left off entirely), in the small print, but not on the byline. Last edited by sodascouts; 07-18-2005 at 07:55 PM.. |

Round 1: Time Bomb Town
Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.
