![]() Last year, when I was cruisin’ through Texas for my big-once-in-a-lifetime-Mac-trip, fellow-ledgie Livia took me to some great musicshops in Austin. I bought a couple of discs for my on-the-road-time alone. I fell in love with Marah back then, and with The Cash Brothers. Last night I was listening to that CD I bought in Austin, “How was tomorrow” (2001), and was reading the linernotes. First of all I was happily surprised that one of those brothers once was a member of the Skydiggers (another fave of mine about ten years ago), but also that I discovered the name of Julian Raymond as a producer of two standout-tracks (Nebraska and Nerve) on this album. If I’m correct, he was the co-writer of WTWCT on SYW. Worth a check, great male harmonizing vocals, edgy guitar, great melodic feel. Does anyone know anything more about Raymond and his contacts with Lindsey?
