OT How do I post a photo next to my username on my posts?

I have gone to edit profile, added a photo, but nothing shows when I post. How are you all getting your pics to post next to your username when posting???

You have to go to "Edit Avatar" and upload a photo that is maximum size 75 pixels or 19.5 kilobytes, if you upload a bigger picture it won't work.
