LA Area Ledgies ~ hot off the phone...

95.5 KLOS is giving away 200 tickets on their morning show TOMORROW, Fri 4/25 from 6-10 AM for a SURPRISE and SECRET FLEETWOOD MAC "TOUR REHEARSAL" show THIS SATURDAY NIGHT up in Los Angeles.



You have to know the songs to SYW pretty well. I dont know the full details of the contest to win tix, and be caller # whatever... but alls i know is I sure hope to win tickets!!!

You've gotta be kidding me! They've been promoting this thing for 6 months and they wait until the day of the concert to do this only in LA.

They couldn't do a giveaway to fan club members? Or on their own freaking website? Or with random copies of the CD? Or about a million other ways that actual fans might end up with tickets? WTF is up with this? What a slap in the face.

Oh well. Good luck to anyone in LA...

Yeah Mike, I agree.

I would have been happy to even make my own flight and hotel reservations. Just the chance to be at the rehearsals would have been nice. Seems like they don't really care or remember the true fans.

Hey I agree wholeheartedly... there should be a way to REALLY get these tickets to TRUE fans.

Ok my HUGE mistake...

First off, they only have ONE pair of tickets to give away today. They had ONE pair yesterday they gave away already. They played a "song montage" with all FM songs over all their eras... they played clips from 15 songs. You have to guess all the songs in the correct order in order to win. And they only played a breif snippet of each song! I recorded the Montage but Im having big problems trying to figure them all out, and I consider myself a core 'mac fan too!

In case anyone needs them, this is the order I have so far:

Song 11 is a Lindsey song and he sings "whatever" in it. I believe song 5 is a Stevie song I dont know the name though. One of the clips was Lindsey guitar but Im not sure from what song, sounds like around Tango era. Another song sounds like a real recent Stevie tune but I cant find it on SYW.

Everyone should know a real true and die-hard fan got the tickets. The Lucky Lady is Anita who is from San Francisco. She drove down to be in the audience from the Tonight show and is staying at a friends house in Riverside (some core 17 yr old fan). She was their FIRST contestant and got them all correct!

I was close but here are the missing ones:

8. Peacekeeper
9. Tusk
11. Go Your Own Way

Funny I thought Tusk was Tango and vice versa. Id figured out Peacekeeper but I still had NO idea on GYOW. If ANYONE knows where this will be, please please let me know ~ miracles happen to people who want them badly enough. That's how I met Stevie in the first place in 2000!

Does anyone know the name of the sound studio they rented for the NBC Dateline appearance? Likely its the same one.

I have a theory about this rehearsal.

The mac performed on 3/1/03 up in LA for their roadies & associates after they finished SYW.

They also rented a sound studio (somewhere) for their taped appearances on TODAY and DATELINE. (not the outside TODAY appearance, the one the day before).

So I have a lead on where the performance took place on 3/1/03. Its likely at the same place tomorrow night. Should I just show up there?? I SO WANT TO BE THERE!!!
