Midnight Sky (Edge of Midnight feat. Stevie Nicks)
I don’t know how to insert media directly onto the page, but Miley Cyrus just released a remix of her song Midnight Sky mashed up with Edge of Seventeen (including new vocals from Stevie!) and it is straight fire.
Here is the link to the official audio on YouTube: https://youtu.be/7CoOLtQbmJI I really think this is Stevie’s best collaboration in years. I love the seamless production and the mesh of their voices on this song. Midnight Sky was clearly Stevie-inspired already but this duet just blew me away.

"Midnight Sky" probably is my favorite pop single of 2020 and this just takes it to another level. I love it!

She sounds good, but it also sounds like the vocals from the original recording are somewhere in the mix (but maybe my ears are deceiving me)

Huh, interesting. I actually don't hear any new vocals from Stevie until the very end -- when she sings "in the Midnight Sky." The rest sounds like the original 1981 "Edge" recording. Anyone else?

Yes, I was thinking the same thing, I just hear the original vocals from 1981. Miley has a very similar sound to the “old”Stevie voice. I doubt any new vocals by her was added but at the very end does sound like Stevie. I really do like the song. |

Stevie's singing of Midnight Sky is new. Maybe her singing Ooh, ooh, ooh. But I think she's dueting with the original vocal here too. It's a little weird that Stevie didn't record new Edge verse and chorus vocals like she did for Deep Dish "Dreams". But I guess the point of this remix is to be about 1980-81.
