LB's neighbors are the Golden Girls?

I heard somewhere that Lindsey lives down the street from the Golden Girls house, which is actually located in Brentwood (despite the show being set in Miami). Can anyone verify this?

The real house (in Brentwood) was used for the first season of GG and then an exact replica of it was built in Orlando, which they used thereafter for exterior shots.

I love it when my fandoms collide. I have always wanted to know what the interior of the real GG house looks like. Who actually lives there? You know they get annoyed with everyone driving past it and taking pictures.
