No way there! There IS another old-time "metal-head" who just so happens to love the Mac too...
When I was 14 years old, I had a Stevie Bella Donna pin on one collar of my leather jacket and an Iron Maiden one on the other! I was a source of amusement to all those that noticed...
And Helloween...The pumpkin band..Where were they from again? Germany or something???
I LOVED them.
But on a SERIOUS note, I LOVE Thin Lizzy in ALL its MANY incarnations...The double live album is my all time favorite though..."Holy War" is AMAZING!!!
At any rate, I just wanted you to know that you're not "alone" and I hope things are "improving" with everything...

been (And will be) a "metal-head", Nothing will ever change that...Been listening to metal for over 20 years now and with the current influx on the "New Wave Of American Metal" groups I am feeling nostalgic!

Yep, Helloween is from Germany...And they still use the pumpkin's as their mascot. I think Andi Deris has a voice that would you would find interesting, I like him even more than the singer he replaced Michael Kiske. I have a majority of Helloween's catalog on cd, Ever since I purchased their masterpiece "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Pt.1" back in 1986 I have been a loyal fan (Their 13 minute epic "Halloween" is my favorite track to listen to this time of the year), They just finished touring for their latest release "Rabbit Doesnt Come Easy", You can check 'em out at http://www.helloween.org

Thin Lizzy is the one band that never got the respect in the states that they RIGHTFULLY deserved, Not until after they disbanded and the great Phil Lynott passed away from this life...The guy was a lyrical genius in my opinion, And he had a great ear for having some great guitar players in Thin Lizzy: Gary Moore (The Peter Green apprentice!), Scott Gorham, John Sykes, Brian Robertson, Eric Bell, etc. Ya should check out the live album "Live And Dangerous", This release is one of the best live album ever IMHO!

I am feeling alright, But will need to have surgery yet again on my esophagus, But better my esophagus than having heart surgery!!!

I consider myself an old time "metal head" too. I love Metallica, Gn'R, Anthrax, Crue and others. It was weird for me when I started listening to Stevie and the Mac cause before that I ONLY would listen to metal and thought everything else sucked.
