Question What is the most underrated Fleetwood Mac song?

Out of all the songs, which one do you really love but gets no credit whatsoever foir being a great song? Here are some of mine:

Welcome to the Room Sara

Honey Hi

Tango in the Night

In the Back of My Mind

Love in Store

Angel

From Stevie's solo albums-

Two Kinds of Love

Docklands

Fall From Grace

I sing for the Things

These seem to be the songs that I love but no one else seems to pay much attention to them. Anyone else have songs like that?

I would say pretty much most of the songs from Future Games, Bare Trees, Penguin, Mystery To Me & Heroes Are Hard To Find are underrated. If I had to pick 1 or 2 songs from those albums, I would pick "The Way I Feel" & "Emerald Eyes". I LOVE both of these songs and I've never heard anyone say virtually anything about them.

A few I think don't get enough credit are...

Isn't It Midnight

Sugar Daddy

That's Alright

Why

Oh Daddy

I think all of these songs deserve a second listening. They're all good tracks that are usually overshadowed by the major hits off of their respective albums.

Fireflies! I don't get why that song didn't make it to the Chain or Greatest Hits of Very Best of.

Maybe. But not with me or Christine or Lindsey. Christine and I will always be close; Lindsey just plain doesn't like me. I never had any musical training of any kind. I just had this innate ability to walk in, sit down at a piano, and write a song in five minutes, and go to bed. It drives him nuts. - Stevie Nicks, 1994

Everything that was released between 1967-1975 and between 1988-1996.

This is a tough one.

Crystal, Angel, Straight Back, When I See You Again, and all of LB's songs from Tusk come to mind.

Tango In the Night (the best song on the album, IMO)
Imperial Hotel (such a fun, cheesy song)
Straight Back (I actually prefer it over Gypsy)
Oh Daddy (my fave Chris song; so great)
In the Back of My Mind (an epic)
Juliet (I adore this song)
Book of Love (I have a soft spot for it)
The Ledge (my favorite Lindsey song from Tusk!)
That's Alright (sing-a-along kinda song; cute)
Love Is Like A River (incomprehensible but a great rocker)
Sable On Blonde (one of the best solo songs)
Say Goodbye (I can never hear enough praise for this!!!)
Family Man (very cool song)

Look!!!!! Family Man is gettin' some love!! WOO!!

I love Family Man! I agree with those of yours dissention.

I also think that Make Me A Mask, most Danny songs and Save Me from the BTM album are underrated!!

I think WTTRS gets a bad rap too.

"I Know I'm Not Wrong" and "Second Hand News"

The former because it's just 3 minutes of awesome rock 'n roll that gets overlooked whenever Tusk is discussed, and the latter because, while it's a fairly popular song, it's deceptively simple. I think a lot of casual fans and critics miss all the little sounds and parts going on in that song. It seems like there are about 20 ways you can play that song on the guitar with all the harmonics, capoed chords, standard chords and fills. And don't get me started on the use of a naugahide (sp?) chair as percussion. That song is example numero uno of the genius of Mr. Buckingham.

One of my favorites is "Think about Me." It really rocks and I don't think they have ever done it in concert before.

I agree. All of Law And Order is great, and Bwana is such a fun way to kick off that album. I've never been a huge fan of Out Of the Cradle, but I love Don't Look Down and Soul Drifter above anything else.

"When I See You Again" is woefully underrated, not to mention unfairly maligned.

A few other underrated songs... "Prove Your Love," "Future Games," "Just Crazy Love," "I Don't Want To Know," "I Know I'm Not Wrong," "You And I, part 1," "Paper Doll," and "Freedom."

I definitely agree about Law & Order....a great album, so many signature-style LB songs. Also, in my opinion, the entire Go Insane album is a masterpiece, and often unfairly overshadowed by OotC.
