![]() Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any of the mirage outtake photos? I love the two I've seen (lindsey holding christine) and was wondering if there were anymore out there?

![]() I believe there are only 2 and judging from the 2 I saw I can see why they chose the one they did for the cover which IMO is an awesome pic. I love the way Stevie has her head flung back and her neck looks like a swans in contortioned exctasy.
Was this shot taken by the famous Hollywood photographer Hurel? Or I read that the pic was very much influenced by his work of the stars of the 30s and 40s like Crawford, Dietrich and Garbo. |

![]() Well there's the pic in my signature. They used this picture to paint the the cover of Mirage, but decided at the end that Stevie's head should be leaning back. Pretty cool stuff. I love this era!

Fleetwood Mac - Multiple Albums Through each of its incarnations, Fleetwood Mac has never appeared in its entirety on an album cover. Drummer Mick Fleetwood appeared by himself on two of the band's earliest albums, while he appeared with bassist John McVie on 1975's Fleetwood Mac, and with singer Stevie Nicks on 1977's Rumours. The closest Fleetwood Mac came to a full band cover was for 1982's Mirage, which featured the band's three songwriters: Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, and Christine McVie. |

![]() Not being a studio album, I'm sure they disqualified it even though didn't explicitly say studio album. They're also on Live, Live in Boston and the Very Best of Fleetwood Mac.

![]() I suppose you're right, although that seems like a rather arbitrary distinction. I can somewhat understand it for a greatest hits compilation of studio tracks because many times the label puts those out without little say or input from the band. But The Dance is something they actively worked on, including the cover art.

![]() I'm pretty sure they edited Stevie's neck on the Mirage album cover, right? I mean, just stare at it closely for a couple of minutes. Freaks me the hell out.
