Default Oh Well - Can someone help me out?

I was just watching the Tango video today and had forgotten just how great that version of "Oh Well" is and I'm hoping someone can (or already has) rip the audio of it for me and make it into an MP3.

I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've always felt that Billy did a much better job of the song than Lindsey. In fact, Billy's renditions are second only to Peter's original, in my eyes.

"Oh Well" (Live @ the Cow Palace - 12/12/87)

I agree with you, JS. I also think that Lindsey's early versions of Oh Well were much better than his later ones.

I assume you mean singing it?

Wait... Billy was the singer? I thought he was the bug-eyed dude playing the drums. You know, the one who looks like Animal from the Muppets?
God, now I'm all confused!

Yeah, I meant singing it. I felt he put more "oomph" into it than Lindsey.

I really love the Tango version of Oh Well too, but I don't really know the original one that well.
I think Billy does a great job.

This is going to piss off a few, but I think Billy did the song the best (alone, BTW), followed by Bob (who really did a lot of interesting things with the Green material), then a tie between Lindsey and Peter.

You can't blame me for being confused because half of the respondents are talking about the vocals & the other half are talking about the guitar work.

(did Billy even play the damn song in '87? I thought it was Rick)

Yes, Billy played "the riff" WITH Rick and then rhythm guitar the rest of the song.

Hey Vicky,

I don't have the audio rip from the DVD, but I do have Oh Well from Salt Lake City, 11/28/87, and Gothenburg, Sweden, 10/28/88.
