Default When you think of that song, what words do you think of first?

That song is whatever song you say it is, but it works like this:

When I think of Say You Love Me the first words I hear in my head are:

"cause when the loving starts and the lights go down, there's not another living soul around...

The first thing I hear is the piano shuffles of the intro..

When I think of Say You Love Me, the first thing I think of is that great piano intro, and the thrill I get listening to Chris's voice in the first verse. I get the same thrill every time.

When I think of Morning Rain, the first thing I think of is "why in hell did the band choose a version where the vocal was so uncharacteristically bad?"

Okay, I get it now.

Brown Eyes: "And are you just another liar"

You Make Loving Fun: "Don't, don't break the spell..."

Little Lies: "Although I'm not making plans, I hope that you understand there's a reason why."

Prove Your Love: "So if you can't see me, right where you are..."

Over My Head: The humming in the middle

For OMH, I just think of "Over my head (over my head)" and the voice dip for the background vocal.

It does give you that over/under feel that works nice with the lyrics. Almost a sense of being dunked or submerged.

Only Over You- "People say they know me, but they don't see. My heart's your future. Your future is me."

[Obviously these are the Songbird lines that Megan Mulally, Karen on Will and Grace, think of first. This is an excerpt from a review of the show she did.]

http://blogs.ocweekly.com/heardmenta...-karen-walker/

Overheard in the Crowd: "'Sing 'Songbird!"' yelled a woman seated in the audience. Mullally replied, "The Fleetwood Mac song I lost my virginity to?" Another man in the crowd shouted out, "Reenact that too!" Mullally started singing, "For you, they'll be no crying/For you, the sun will be shining," and abruptly stopped and said, "Hell no!" Everyone laughed.

Interesting story, I met Megan and her mother backstage at Disney Concert hall. She is an amazing singer. She did some Broadway tunes. She couldn't be a nicer person.
