Why would Stevie be performing with The Roots when Dave & Krist are on the same show...

I think you're on to it Kevin. Stevie's doing the Ronstadt thing in nearby Brooklyn, NY on the 10th. She likes to shop in NYC, she likes the hotels there--might as well spend a couple of days and get some PR going for Fleetwood Mac at the same time. It's all good.

Another reason I love NYC! I might try to get standby tickets for the hell of it, since they do ticket reservation a month in advance. I'll just have to leave work early for the taping, but why not?

It would definitely be interesting to see her with The Roots, but I agree with you @wheart - what is the point of her appearance? There's nothing to really promote.

I have not seen Jimmy's version of the Tonight show yet .Did he carry over his other skits and stuff from his old show.Roots are great.

I can do without Dave G if he is performing with her but I like hearing him when interviewed .

Ann Wilson was just on recently performing with the Roots. It was cool but I would have preferred her to just be the musical guest since she will only get to do a snippet of a song while going to or coming back from a commercial.

and do what sit around and get high ... she's not a musician so there is little or nothing for her to do until all the tracks are recorded and she can do vocals, and with ticket for Fleetwood Mac going on sale monday it will probably give sale a slight boost

I LOVE all these odd little things she does. I loved her with Dave G. I loved her with Lady A. I loved her on American Horror Story. I loved IYD and Sound City. I really rather she keep dabbling in all these creative avenues. Really, how many times can we watch her sing Dreams and Landslide. Well...forever really, but you get my point.

YOU ARE RIGHT ON !! The Fleetwood Mac 2014 Tour is selling like hotcakes! Stevie and The Mac need to get in the studio to begin laying down preliminary tracks for a new record. The time is ripe. By the time the tour starts in September, they could have the record at least 1/2 to 3/4 FINISHED. They could release the album SPRING 2015 and tour with NEW MUSIC and all new set list that FALL. Then again, this band has NEVER been good with timing.

This reminds me of the time that THE MAC were recording TANGO IN THE NIGHT and Stevie was running around Australia singing BACKUP for Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. Subsequently, she shows up that the tail end of the sessions and complains that she's not on the record. So, they threw together some last minute "Welcome To The Rainbow's End Whatsha Matter Baby S**T........ SERIOUSLY ?? While we're at it, let's overdub some "tell me lies" parts.....STEVIE, honey, we love you, you are my legend, my touchstone...........but, get with the program!!!!!
