February 1970
Here is a scan of the front of the Music Now paper with a FM colour photo and interesting article showing where Peter's head was at. This is courtesy of Sunbeam Records co-founder and Flashback Magazine editor Richard Morton Jack. Thank you Richard!

Yep, thanks for posting. I took a look at Dinky Dawsons tourlist because of Austria march 13 and Vienna march 25. Dinky states march 13 as Amsterdam which is probably right because after that they went to Belgium (lousy 200 km) on march 14 and back to Holland on march 15 (Rotterdam (I WAS THERE )).
So I guess Jim Watson made a slip of the pen . |

Is Dinky different from this? His site is wonderful but confusing.

Okay,
Using the article posted by Becca (thank you) and comparing the info found in Celmins’ biography, Dawson’s “Life on the Road” and Christopher Hjort’s “Strange Brew” and the FM Legacy tour listings, I think the band’s itinerary in March and April of 1970 might have looked something like this: Highlighted shows are those for which bootleg recordings are available. March: March 07, 1970 Paris - France, L’Olympia March 08, 1970 Basle - Switzerland, Limmathaus March 09, 1970 Zurich – Switzerland, Limmathaus March 13, 1970 Amsterdam – Holland, Het Concertgebouw March 14, 1970 Londerzeel – Belgium, venue not known March 15, 1970 Rotterdam – Holland, venue not known March 18, 1970 Hannover, West Germany, Kuppelsaal March 19, 1970 West Berlin, West Germany, Sportspalast March 20, 1970 Hamburg, West Germany, Musikalle March 21, 1970 Dusseldorf, West Germany, Rheinhalle March 22, 1970 Munich, West Germany, Circus Krone Bau March 23, 1970 Frankfurt, West Germany, venue not known March 24, 1970 Nuremburg, West Germany, venue not known March 25, 1970 Vienna, Austria, Konzerthaus March 26, 1970 Boblingen / Stuttgart, West Germany, Liederhalle March 28, 1970 Copenhagen, Denmark, Falkoner Centret March 30, 1970 Odense, Denmark, Fyens Forum April: April 01, 1970 Stockholm, Sweden, Konserthuset April 02, 1970 Gothenburg, Sweden, Cue Room April 03, 1970 Helsinki, Finland, Kultuuritaalo No one lists the show in Frankfurt (the day after Munich) so the chances are good that it was canceled. More interestingly, no one listed Gothenburg (in April) either, yet a tape exists for that show - unless of course the location is incorrect…

I think Wouter Vuijk might remember the venue in Rotterdam? I have seen some films of outdoor events in a park by the water from around then, wonder if it was one of those?

Thanks for your research and for the list, BklynBlue. That's probably the best guess yet as to the actual dates for that tour.
