Default SnL...Quotes

This just breaks my heart:

Maybe when Lindsey and I are 60 years old, we'll look around and say, 'You know what, there just isn't anybody better around. Maybe we'll just get married or something.' But, Lindsey and I are becoming really good friends again. …It's really nice. I don't think we were all that good of friends before.

Lindsey found someone better for him than Stevie would've been. It wasn't meant to be. What's sad about that?

Oh don't get me wrong, I am very happy for Lindsey! He is clearly a happily married man with three kids. I just always maybe hoped in the back of my head that they could find a way to come together again. Grow old together, make music together till they both passed. Theres just a little shipper inside me (just a little ).

oh thank you! that's how i feel! i always get this uncomfortable feeling in the back of my throat when i read this or when i see a pic of Linds and Kristen, i feel like she married him for money (EVEN THOUGH SHE DIDN'T)

somewhere, deep, deep inside, i know that Lindsey and Stevie realize they're meant to be

it's photos like this that make me believe that (i took at the concert!):

They were together in another place and another time....so now their spirits are reconnected..even though they don't live together or are married..they're still creative soul mates deep deep down.....

I always find it fascinating that Stevie and Lindsey were actually together for only 10% of the amount of time they've been talking about how they were once together and had to break up. Can you imagine? Having to talk about a romantic relationship you haven't been in for 34 years!

Now what would make anyone think that??!?!? Just because she tore down his house, built a new one, and spared no expense in decorating it?

(I am not a shipper; I'm basing my sarcastic remark on a magazine article I read a long time ago where Kristen shows off the new house.)

Jimmy --

I always loved this quote --

"Your office is my road; it’s all the same thing. And I think that it never works and will always, always backfire. Those relationships are over once the intensity of the moment is over. And then somebody gets hurt. It never works."

And this --

Q: "...do you catch each other's eye, now and then?"

A: "Yes, we remember. And I think that when we're up there on the stage, we get to actually go back and - be in our relationship. So, we get to have our love affair up there on that stage. So, that's very precious, you know?"

I love how 12 years later she says this...

"Maybe when we're 75 and Fleetwood Mac is a distant memory, we might be friends..."

I think Stevie and Lindsey had a very unique relationship because of the fact that they had broken up in 77 but worked together all those years later, and I don't doubt that they still had their moments in that time where they were still in love with each other. However, I think that was lost when Lindsey left the Mac, but they were able to rekindle that unique "not lovers, but not friends" relationship during The Dance. I think in 1997, she was back to being a little bit in and out of love with him, like things used to be, so she would throw around ideas of them getting married 10-13 years later, just in attempt to be flirtatious in a sense. But then he got married, and now they have to strictly be friends. And now I think she is upset over the fact that he is taken, and maybe subconsciously is thinking "hmm maybe in 15 years after we are done with Fleetwood Mac his marriage will fall apart and then I can come curling around him like fingers and then leave him crying in the night. And we can go back to our flirtatious love/hate relationship."

Way to use lyrics in a post!
