Blackstar by David Bowie
Has anyone else heard this song? I think this song is one of the best I've heard in years. It's David Bowie's new release and it sounds like it's straight from the 1970s. LOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE IIIIIITTTTT!
and I'm not a huge Bowie fan. Great video too. |

I love the album! It felt refreshing since The Next Day. I feel like each song is reminiscent of another era. For me Blackstar reminded me of Station to Station. The changes in tempo and rhythm reminded me of it. Lazarus has a similar atmosphere to Low. Girl Loves Me reminds me of Outside with the whole mystery of the song. Dollar Days reminds me of Reality, especially Try Some Buy Some with the guitar. The synth on I Can't Give Everything Away reminds me a lot of Black Tie White Noise.
