i ususally do, but i already got all my christmas shopping done, but i'm sure i will still go out to see what is good to buy~

I started early but only got that one gift so far.

I have never shopped on Black Friday. Seems like it would be really stressful. I am so not into that. I get crowd angry and want to smack people.

It's the best day to have an excuse to be a total bitch and rude in public. How can I pass that up???

Good point. That part could be fun. I know that if you have specific items you want to get you can save huge money getting in early. But I don't know if it is worth it to me. You can save the same amount oftentimes just waiting 'til Dec 18th-ish.

Good point, but I feel like I've held off way too long by then... The huge savings help me with Sara's mountain of gifts yearly... and the older she gets, the more expensive her gifts get....

Well since you put it that way I MAY go out this year!!

I have never gone shopping that day either because I also get crowd angry. I mean I HATE crowds - the only way I can handle them is if I have someone(s) with me to distract me from all the people...so generally I don't partake in Black Friday.

ermmm...no. And its not fun for the people that work in retail of any kind. Customers are absolute devils that day. The "spirt of Christmas" eh?...Shop early, shop online.

OK, point taken. I wouldn't want to work retail that day, but it's the other shoppers I'm bitchy to, not the retail workers. Anyone who works in retail that day has my full respect, because I don't think I could do it.

one of those retailers, And boy-howdy I HATE Black Friday!!!

Lord forbid if you sold out of an item that was listed in the newspaper ad, because the customers would bitch/moan/complain as if it was all your fault.

That is one of the reasons I am really kind towards retail clerks, I been there and done that.

I was too and I wanted to kill everyone. Christmas Eve was the worst. Everyone waiting until 6:00 (closing) to come to the register with their 500 items!

I'm so glad I got out of that because it was not for me.
