We believe America is more than a piece of land with people living on it. America is an idea that lights the world with its values of freedom and fairness.

I couldnt agree more. and I plan on helping the ACLU any way I can to further those goals and ideals. I hope many of you will join me, and my Thanks to those of you who do.

The good thing about the ACLU is they represent ANYONE's right to free speech and other civil rights. I mean they even defended Rush "let's pop a pill and sell a few thousand more" Limbaugh and he HATES them. They are a truly blind organization when it comes to that. They are al about the rights of everyone no matter how repugnant they are in real life. Yet, Fox News just cannot stand them - but I'd bet it (like Limbaugh, the skin heads, and other hate mongering groups) would not refuse the help of the ACLU

be sure to contact your representatives and let them know you expect them to stand firm against the assault being mounted by the Religious Right (who are dead WRONG IMO) We must not sleep now.
