the lindseydemo's bin
Hi all,
Over the years I've heard alot of incredible lindseydemo's over here. But I never archived them. Lost them in crashes, or-mainly-just listened and not stacked them. Now I'm eager to collect and put them on harddisk and CD, to build a Lindsey-songpainting-book (sorry sortasavagelike) to dig deeper in his songbuildingstyle. So can you help me with putting up as much demo's (don't care how sketchy they are) as possible in this thread? It would be great if we could share and discuss them over here... thanks in advance, Gerald

I probably don't have as much as other people here, but I'll try to post what I can. Are you looking for them in mp3/wma/wav or does it not really matter?

Is that from the KCRW show? I like that one, but my favorite is the one he did on the air during the 1992 Rockline with Bob Coburn. There's something about that little throwaway performance that just sounds so perfect, so complete.

I have a Try for the Sun instrumental, and another version of Peacekeeper [and the radio edit, but Id have to dig through deep to find it.] Ill post if anyone wants it [the radio PK will have to wait until the weekend, cause ive been bombarded with schoolwork... |

It's my favorite also. I can die happy if it ever ends up on an album, but I really doubt it.

Im really loving She Smiles Sweetly and Gift of Screws. But Gift of Screws has that part where its like the Hokey Pokey. |

I can too, but someone asked Lindsey about it not long ago and he didn't even know what song this person was talking about.
