How old were you when you attended your first Mac Concert?
A thread in the chit chat forum about young fans got my little brain wondering. How old was everyone here when you want to see Fleetwood Mac for the first time?
I was 12 years old... and it was the Time tour. I still remember it like it was yesterday! I was just giddy with excitement. I was 16 when I saw my first Mac member solo show: Stevie's Enchanted tour. I still hate I've not seen any of the other solo Macsters. I have always been dead broke when Lindsey comes to the Carolinas (and he's never come within a couple hours of Charlotte, anyway). I'd especially like to see him. I'd love to see Bob Welch perform too. Guess I gotta get on top of my Mac bucket list! |

I was 8! I had lawn seats to the "Say You Will" tour in New Jersey and it was amazing! I had been listening to Mac all my life, but never knew what they looked like. My mom was like, "Miranda, i'm letting you know right now that the woman likes to spin around in lots of lace and flowy dresses" and that's when i fell in total admiration with Stevie.

I saw Stevie when I was 14, but I didn't see the Mac until last year. (Incase you can't do the math, I was 15 )
Funny story, when my aunt and I were at the Unleashed concert in Milwaukee she was like "I'm pretty sure I saw Fleetwood Mac in the 70s." And I was like "OMG NO WAY WHAT YEAR?! HOW COME YOU'VE NEVER TOLD ME!?" She said "Well... you see... it was the 70s. And I don't think I knew it had a name." She also deemed Mick the Drumming Santa. I love my aunt!

I first saw Fleetwood Mac on the Tusk Tour in Nov. 1979 when I was 17.
I first saw Stevie solo in July, 1983 on The Wild Heart Tour when I was 21. |

I was 17 when I saw them at The Centrum in Worcester, MA on their Mirage tour. It was a fantastic show. Several years later I saw Stevie at the same venue on her Rock A Little tour. It was not a fantastic show; it was a mess.

I got a ticket to see the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band w/ Rick Vito for my 18th birthday, then a ticket to see Fleetwood Mac in Manchester for my 19th birthday; almost a year to the day
