A friend gave me a Res CD (when people still bought them), about 15 yrs. ago. I loved it, and then she just vanished.

Her reinterpretation of Edge of 17 is quite good!
Covering a song is about paying homage to the artist who sung/wrote it. Sometimes the interpretation is bad, sometimes it's good, and on rare occasion, better than the original. But the intention is pure.
