Halloween 2008

Can anyone help me out with ideas for a Halloween dress up ? I'm all out of inspiration.

Sofar i've been : an oridinary witch (iow my normal self haha), Morticia Addams and Magenta from the Rocky Horror Picture show (with Otto dressed as Riff Raff).

She does resemble Morticia Addams a bit does'nt she ?
i've also thought of what's her name from Bewitched. I've been trying to learn how to "wiggle" my nose but without much result sofar

Don't believe we've had I dream of Jeannie over here. Never saw it myself.

Just googled it : she looks fabulous ! But not scary at all.And i would need to go on a dieet to lose the love handles around my waist

My 8 year old is going as a Geisha girl. I think it's pretty original, myself.

It's pretty common actually, even more common since the film Memoirs of a Geisha came out.

Back off. Just calling it like it is. I was posting about Geisha's and how I am shocked an 8 year old is dressing like one. It has nothing to do about how sweet and how long someone has been here.

^It has to do with the fact that you are unnecessarily acting like a jerk to Maria. And I actually don't think most people would associate Geishas with prostitution. Especially other 8 year old trick-or-treaters. But, w/e.

Oh, btw, the way you used "Geisha's" in your post does not require an apostrophe.

Suzy - I gather you want to go as something scary. as for originality, that's gonna be pretty difficult if you have limits as to what you want to wear or how you want to look. besides, it's difficult as it is to be original so I wouldn't worry too much about being original, just do something fun. what about a vampiress or something like this (which I think is awesome):

I would have loved that myself at that age. All the make-up and your hair in a bun and all of that being allowed by your parents

Over here, Halloween has been coming "into fashion" for the past 3 or 4 years, but we try to dress up in ghosts,goolies,witches,vampires and so on.
Anything that's creepy will do !
