Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Sheryl Crow is (quite far along) in the process of adopting a child and will be bringing home a new baby quite soon.

A source close to the singer tells us, "This is something Sheryl's wanted to do for some time now. She's very excited and will be a great mom."
