Live Album?
Now this is projecting way into the future but....after Lindsey releases his "Rock And Roll" album (hopefully) this year or early next and (hopefully) tours to back it, will he issue a live album? A two cd set with one acoustic and the other electric would be fantastic.

I have my foil hat on...it is a great possibility. I do believe we are in store for much more from Lindsey. There is also the documentary he spoke about, and the filming of the Vegas show. This is a wonderful time. I am very excited.

I'm not trying to be a downer or naysayer, but have we heard it confirmed that the FT WORTH show is destined for anything other than Mark Cuban's HDTV? I hope so, and it seems a natural fit, I just hadn't heard official or other than hearsay on the topic.
I personally hope LB releases 3 products a year onward, since he's so on fire right now. Are you reading this LB? |

With the DVD continually on the rise, people tend to not release live albums anymore, but prefer to put out concert DVDs.

Releasing the next album and a DVD containing live performances and the documentary in the same package would be a good move. Hope he's thinking what I'm thinking.

Any live DVD from anyone from the Fleetwood Mac family would be a welcome surprise. Their output is frustratingly meek. Yeah, we got Stevie's Red Rocks, and Fleetwood Mac's The Dance and Live in Boston (very poorly shot/edited/packaged in my opinion). But that's about it.
How about putting on DVD what was released on VHS, like Stevie's awesome Bella Donna concert (full length) and...even Christine's concert video? I see so many artists that seemingly issue a concert DVD from every tour they do--U2, Tom Petty and Sheryl Crow come to mind. We know for sure that there were Rumours and Tusk shows filmed, so why do they just let them sit in a can rotting away? If they are going to continue to rest on their laurals (and asses), they might as well milk the past...they've been doing that for a long time anyway. I can't imagine the market is any greater for someone like Sheryl Crow...she just put out another concert DVD -- for her last album, which didn't necessarily burn up the charts.

Yes, and we'll get another live show on dvd somewhere this year. I don't think we should be complaining here.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one...but my frustration/complaint stills stands.

And do we need a FOURTH offical live version of the amazing big love? No. I want new recordings. And an inside-the-music-information documentary would be fun.
