Default Nerdy Tech Question: Mic

I searched the threads to see if anyone had discussed sound reinforcement for Lindsey/Nicks/FleetwoodMac, but I haven't found anything.

The mics for the Soundstage show look just like those used in the "Say You Will" tour, or at least in the rehearsal shown in "Destiny Rules".

I think they are Audio-Technica AE5400 mics, but they also look a little like the Sennheiser 845. Anyone know the answer?

Yeah, the catalog photos show them gray/silver, but stage lighting could make them look darker.

Anyway, I am not at all convinced that these are the only possiblities, they were just the two closest I found, with positive reviews that suggested they might have been chosen as mics for the tour. I was also searching for sound reinforcement reviews, because the techs will often post articles in pro mags about their gear for a tour.

Default Answering my own question

because my topic is that exciting. MmHmm.

I am quite certain it is this one

Dave Natale, FOH mixer for Fleetwood Mac "Say You Will", mentions it as a favorite vocal mic.

It is discontinued, replaced by the 5400.

I answer my own questions at home too ;^)
