Default All-Star Game

I am starting this game off annoyed at the amount of booing that just happened during the announcing of the players! And to be fair, my anger started the second the loud booing started, with the Red Sox, and not just for a specific team or players. I was super pissed for Clay Buccholtz, since he probably got the biggest boos out of nowhere. By the time they got to the Yankees, they at least knew it was coming and were able to laugh it off. Ugh, so gross. These are ALL-STARS, people.

That said, rooting for the AL and hoping my fave, Nick Swisher, gets a little play. And also that ANYONE that got significant boos hits a homer and we'll see if the fans boo THAT.

It's the ole LA - NY thing. Of course Angels' fans are going to boo the Yankees. The Angels surcharge Yankees and Red Sox tickets (so did the Dodgers with interleague play)

I'm going to the July 28 Angels-Red Sox week day(Wed), day game at Angels Stadium. Can't wait.

The pitching is just too good at these All Star games. From here on we'll have flame throwing relievers with 100 mph high hard heat. Now days with 13 pitchers, one inning or less...even the very best hitters can 't cope.

Haha, right?

It's true, the issue with the all-star game is that the pitching is at its best, so there isn't going to be a lot of hitting. It'll be kind of hilarious if someone like Cano ends up getting MVP for his sac fly.

NL up 3-1 with the biggest National League hit in 13 years says Tim McCarver. Bring on the closers and shut the AL down.
