Well, my username has an story...
There's a song of Jamiroquai called "Mr. Moon", and I used that name to write some letters to a girl I really loved. She was my first love, even when then everything went from bad to worse, and nothing happened between us...
After that, I used only "moon" for every username, in forums, msn, twitter...my name is Marcos, in english is Mark, but obviously, you can call me simply "moon".
Nice thread, interesting stories!
Regards!

the "D" is my last name initial. My last name is Denison.

Since there's no way of knowing spelling when said verbally, back in Jr High (or Middle School as they're known by today) I got the nickname "Chili". Why?

THIS:

And...the rest is history.

I got my username because I want to be a famous singer someday. (And it'd be so cool if Stevie were a fan of me)

My real name is Leanna.

It came from a discussion about potential band names many years ago when I was still at school. That potential name; The Fuzzy Plums' always stuck in my head for some reason.
Just terrible at coming up with user names so that was all I could think of.

That must be a west coast thing, Steve, because I've never seen that brand.

I HATE my name here. 11 years ago, I watched a lot of The Simpsons. And Christine is my favorite member. She's still my favorite, but I HATE the Homer part of my name.

A rather obvious reference to Stevie's 2nd album/the title track of said album.

At the time, I liked Hello Kitty, and I considered myself one of Lady Gaga's Little Monsters. Combine the two, and you get a pretty unoriginal, uninspired username . Couldn't think of anything. I didn't want to use my unique name, for privacy's sake, I am the only person in the US with my first and last name.

Of course I have plenty of username ideas now.

Thank you! I appreciate my name now, but I used to get pretty upset when I was younger, never being able to find things with my name on it.
