Default Fleetwood Mac Us Festival Mp3?

Hello

I saw a site that claimed to have a US Festival 82 CD of The Mac, I did not even know a recording of that existed

Does anyone have any mp3's of that performance, and if so, can you kindly share? It would be greatly appreciated

Thank you to all

Save Knight Rider!

oops

I miss the original KITT

I lost 2 pairs of contact lens due from the sand... LOL!!!

I just want a video. Why, why, why haven't they released one? I know the footage is out there some where. Michele

It's probably in the same vault as every other one of the other 587,822 shows that they filmed and never released. I remember, back in the day, watching footage of the performance of "Brown Eyes," and I just thought it was the most hauntingly pretty thing I'd ever heard. The stage was dark and Stevie was wearing that black string around her neck; I always found that accessory a bit strange.

There are two audience recordings of the show that I know of, & there was also a heavily edited soundboard bootleg (sold on the bootleg market in the late '90s), from which the following two tracks are taken.

You are in luck. I'm working from home today and have 2 discs from September 5, 1982. I'll give them a listen and convert to mp3's. On first listen, my copy is definitely an audience recording.

But I thought we'd have more luck with this one, because it was the first US festival and featured many artists, so it has historic value to so many beyond Fleetwood Mac. I thought that would help get it out on the market, but apparently not.

Was it televised? I don't have a video of the US Festival but I remember when Live Aid was televised and I had my BETA taping at my house and my grandparents. Now all these years later I have 16 hours of Live Aid still on Beta.

No, I don't think it was. But in addition to the fan bootlegs of a couple of numbers that have surfaced, I remember there were professional quality clips that aired too.

I still have a Sony Betamax player in good working condition. I don't use it much, but just in case . . .

The black string that Stevie wore around her neck then, was considered by She... it was a "mourning" choker necklace... that she was wearing in mourning for Robin... Although I don't remember her wearing it at the first US Festival in September 1982', because Robin was still alive and flown into the US Festival via hellicopter in Sept.82'... then Robin died the next month in October 82'... so you may have seen Stevie wearing the black "mourning" choker lace during the following May 83', US Festival when she headlined with David Bowie... (and was then mourning Robin's death)...
