Default My prediction for 2017

So I've had a thought after reading what's going on with the new music and I reckon that the band will release a big package/box set for the 50th anniversary and included in that will be some new songs. It's a really good way of getting their new music heard and they clearly have a few songs done already. It would be the same as The Rolling Stones' GRRR!

That album will come out mid 2017 followed by a mammoth tour. Mark my words this will happen, I said it first!

I also think this is how we will eventually hear the unreleased recordings. I said the same thing well over a year and a half ago when it became obvious Stevie wasn't ready to contribute to a full album. It is really sad and I wish now this last tour had been their farewell. I have no interest in watching them trot out pretty much the same setlist yet again with no new material to promote.

There will be no new album, but I have been expecting something like a box set thing with some new and old unreleased content.

I'd love a tour with non-hits...
