Default 5/26: Happy Birthday to the Queen of Rock!

Happy Birthday, Stevie.
Fifty-five never looked so good.
What shall we send you?
In addition to the charitable donation in your honor that you request every year, here's what I put on the shopping list:

a white-winged dove
a silver tray
a soft silver chain
the blankets that you love
an abalone shell
something French, champagne
a matching blue lamp and crystal mirror
a certified letter from Lindsey that "Come" is NOT about you
the things money can't buy

Anybody want to add anything from the Stevie/FM lyrics/world? (No Egyptian jewelry or black penguin shirts, please --- I understand she might be choosing to boycott these for some reason. )

- Jake

Happy Birthday Stevie!

55 and still a babe!

There is a craftshop in Dublin that sells very witchy dolls - one even looks like Stevie! She would love it!

I would give her a broom as well - to beat Mick and the Toad with!!!

love

Thirty-five is a very attractive age. London society is full of women of the very highest birth who have, of their own free choice, remained thirty-five for years.

I can't even picture a witchy doll that wouldn't at least remind me of Stevie.
And if the broom really works, maybe she will fly out & perform in Europe for you guys sometime soon. (After she beats those guys, of course. )

~~~Happy Birthday, Stevie. I wish for you all your dreams including what you have often said - that maybe Mr. Right will come around the corner.~~~
Heart
Happy Birthday Stephanie!
Wishing you all the love that you have always given us for so many years. Wishing you the best ever!
...and since we know that you secretly read our posts on THE LEDGE Jake has started your Birthday List of Gifts from our hearts to you. In addition here are a few more with love ~
A bell that rings in the night,
A pouch of real "Gold Dust",
Three Crystal Balls from crystal mined from the underneath the sea,
A deed to the magickal castle made of candy that overlooks that very sea,
A vintage English black top hat bound with a French silk scarf adorned with a crimson plume,
A car to replace the one your special friend drove off in and never returned that night it was raining,
A violet colored shrine candle that burns for Janis Joplin in Blue-white flame made by the Illume Candle Co.,
An invisible tambourine bedazzled in silvery ribbons with your name and Rhiannon's name inscribed on it,
The complete original works of Sulamith Wulfing,
A life-time supply of rainbow lightbulbs,
A velvet cape the color of spiders' web with embroidered black roses~also with your name inscribed,
A diamond heart pendant and that ring made out of Diamonds,
Earrings and Bracelet made of finest jade,
A box of Nag Champra inscence,
A Senhiesser 441 microphone ~ for oldtimes sake ~ simply because you looked so captivatingly beautiful singing from behind it,
Cecille Bruner Roses to plant in your Rose garden, because they are a lovely soft morning pink,
Pink Ballet slippers,
An invitation to the housewarming party from your friend who finally built that house and after all this time,
A first edition copy of "ALICE IN WONDERLAND"
Jean Cocteaus' film "La Belle a la Bete" on DVD,
A plane that flies only at midnight,
Tickets for another pilgrimage to DISNEYLAND,
A bolt of French silk chiffon for those dark wings,
A diary bound in Leather and Lace with a thousand pages to chronicle 1000 entries for the next one thousand days,
An endless hourglass where the sands of time are at your command,
An Art Deco glass table that once belonged to Greta Garbo,
A legendary and highly coveted white saphire ring from old Bombay,
A music box that plays "RHIANNON",
A windchime that chimes "Beauty and the Beast",
And last, but not the very least, my wish for you, for your birthday, is a fantasy come true. I dream for you that Bob Dylan had fallen madly in love with you some years ago, and that he worships the ground you walk on, and that you both live in that Castle of Candy by the ocean with your three beautiful children singing and playing to the sea forever more in true fairy tale style!
Happy Birthday Stevie with lots and lots of "Ribbons and some Bows"
One day you will become that immortal Ancient Queen rockin' on 1000 years from today!
With all of our love from the Gypsies that remain ~
Life, Love, and Magick ~
~ Tommy
